HiRank - SEO Rank Checking Service
The following terms and conditions (the "Terms") apply to the business relations between Zone 2 Technologies Ltd, a Bulgarian limited liability company, registered in the Bulgarian Commercial Register under UIC 206921440 and VAT number BG206921440, with seat and management address at Bulgaria, Sofia 1000, Izgrev region, Iztok district, 6 Dr. Lyuben Rusev Str., fl. 5, ap. 81 ("Zone 2 Technologies", "We", "Us", or "Our"), and its clients (the "Client", "You", or "Your"), regarding the provision of the Service as defined below.
1. Definitions
"Website" means https://hirank.co and any associated subdomains.
"Service" means the SEO keyword rank checking service provided by Zone 2 Technologies through the Website, including the generation of Reports and delivery of results.
"Report" means the results document generated by the Service showing keyword rankings, SERP data, and related metrics for Your specified domain.
"Rank Check" means an individual keyword position lookup performed as part of the Service.
"Order" means a request submitted by You through the Website to use the Service, including the specified domain, keywords, location, device type, and other parameters.
"Token" means the unique identifier assigned to each Report, used to access the Report via a URL.
"Failed Check" means a Rank Check that encountered a technical error during execution and could not retrieve results. Failed Checks are eligible for retry.
"Not Found" means a Rank Check that was successfully executed but the target domain was not found within positions 1-100 of the search results. This is a valid result, not an error.
"No Search Results" means a Rank Check where Google returned zero organic search results for the query. This can occur for highly specific, unusual, or malformed queries. This is a valid result reflecting Google's actual response, not an error.
"Cost" means the price paid by You to Zone 2 Technologies for the Service.
"Agreement" means the contract between You and Zone 2 Technologies formed when You complete an Order and payment.
"Confidential Information" means information provided by one party to the other concerning the business, clients, suppliers, finances, or other areas of the party's business, excluding information in the public domain, information required to be disclosed by any court or regulatory authority, or information already in the possession of the disclosing party.
"Intellectual Property Rights" means copyright, rights in or relating to databases, patent rights, designs and registered designs, trademarks, rights relating to Confidential Information, and other intellectual property rights (registered or unregistered) throughout the world.
"SERP" means Search Engine Results Page - the page displayed by a search engine in response to a query.
2. The Service
(1) HiRank is an SEO keyword rank checking service that allows You to check the Google search ranking positions of Your website for specified keywords.
(2) The Service includes:
- Checking keyword ranking positions from 1 to 100 only
- Support for multiple locations, devices (desktop, mobile, tablet), and Google domains
- Processing of up to 100 keywords per Order
- Generation of a Report accessible via a unique Token URL
- Email notification when Your Report is ready
- Comparison features when re-checking the same domain
(3) The Service checks positions 1-100 only. If Your domain does not appear within the top 100 search results for a keyword, the result will show as "Not Found". This is a valid result indicating Your domain does not rank in the top 100 positions for that keyword. Additionally, in rare cases, Google may return no search results at all for a query. This is marked as "No Search Results" and reflects Google's actual response for that specific keyword and location combination.
(4) Results are generated using third-party search engine data providers and represent a point-in-time snapshot. Actual search rankings may vary based on location, personalization, and other factors.
3. Placing an Order
(1) To use the Service, You must submit an Order through the Website by:
- Entering Your target domain
- Providing Your keywords (up to 100)
- Selecting Your preferred location, device type, and Google domain
- Providing Your contact details (name, email, country)
- Accepting these Terms and Our Privacy Policy
- Completing payment
(2) By completing payment, You enter into an Agreement with Zone 2 Technologies for the provision of the Service.
(3) Upon successful payment, Your Order will be processed. Rank Checks are performed asynchronously and processing time varies depending on the number of keywords and system load.
(4) You will receive an email notification when Your Report is ready, containing a link to view Your results.
(5) You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of Your domain, keywords, location, and other Order details before completing payment. We do not offer refunds or corrections for user input errors, including but not limited to typos, incorrect domain formats, or misspelled keywords.
4. Pricing and Payment
(1) The current price for the Service is displayed on the Website at the time of Order.
(2) Unless otherwise specified on the Website, all prices are exclusive of VAT or other applicable taxes.
(3) Payments are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment provider. By making a payment, You agree to Stripe's terms of service in addition to these Terms.
(4) The Service operates on a pay-per-use basis. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
(5) Each Rank Check Order is a separate transaction. Running a new check from an existing Report (using the "Check Again" feature) constitutes a new Order and requires payment at the current rate.
(6) Payment must be completed before the Service is provided.
(7) Each Order is charged at a flat rate regardless of the number of keywords submitted (between 1 and 100).
5. Service Delivery
(1) Upon successful payment, the Service will begin processing Your Order automatically.
(2) Results are delivered through:
- A Report accessible via a unique Token URL
- An email notification sent to the address You provided
(3) Processing time varies based on the number of keywords and current system load. While We aim to deliver results promptly, We do not guarantee specific delivery times.
(4) You acknowledge that by completing payment and accepting these Terms, You consent to the immediate provision of the Service and understand that this affects Your right of withdrawal as described in Section 14.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
(1) Eligibility for Refunds: Refunds are available only for Rank Checks that have a "Failed" status, indicating a technical error prevented the Service from retrieving results.
(2) Not Eligible for Refunds:
- "Not Found" results (Your domain not appearing in positions 1-100 is a valid result, not a failure)
- "No Search Results" (Google returning zero results is a valid outcome reflecting the actual search response)
- User error, including but not limited to incorrect domain entry, wrong location selection, or keyword typos
- Successfully delivered results, regardless of whether the rankings meet Your expectations
- Orders where the Report has been generated and delivered
(3) Before Requesting a Refund: If You experience Failed Checks, You must first attempt the following remedies:
- Use the retry function available on Your Report to retry Failed Checks (up to 3 automatic retries per keyword)
- Contact Us at hello@hirank.co to request a manual retry of specific keywords
- Only if all retry attempts fail are You eligible to request a refund for the affected keywords
(4) Refund Process: To request a refund for persistently Failed Checks, contact Us at hello@hirank.co with:
- Your Order reference or Report Token
- Description of the Failed Checks
- Confirmation that You have exhausted retry attempts
(5) Approved refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction within 14 days of approval.
(6) Refunds are calculated proportionally based on the number of persistently Failed Checks relative to the total keywords in Your Order.
7. Report Access and Security
(1) Public Access: Reports are accessible via a unique Token URL. Anyone with access to this URL can view the Report. No authentication or account is required.
(2) Information Displayed on Reports:
- Target domain
- Keywords and their ranking positions
- Location, device, and search engine settings
- SERP data (titles, snippets, URLs of ranking pages)
- Ranking metrics and statistics
- Comparison data (for subsequent Orders)
(3) Information NOT Displayed on Reports:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Payment information
- Your IP address
- Order financial details
(4) Your Responsibility:
- You are responsible for keeping Your Report Token URL secure
- Sharing the Token URL with others grants them access to view Your Report
- We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from You sharing or failing to secure Your Token URL
(5) Token Security: Tokens are randomly generated and are not guessable. However, they should be treated as sensitive information similar to a password.
8. Service Limitations and Disclaimers
(1) Technical Limitations:
- The Service checks positions 1-100 only. Rankings beyond position 100 are not detected.
- Results are obtained from third-party SERP data providers and may differ from actual Google search results due to location, personalization, time of search, and other factors.
- Processing times are not guaranteed and may vary based on system load and third-party provider availability.
(2) Service Availability:
- We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Third-party provider outages or limitations may temporarily affect the Service.
- We reserve the right to perform maintenance that may temporarily interrupt the Service.
(3) No Guarantees:
- Search engine rankings fluctuate constantly. Results represent a point-in-time snapshot only.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of results compared to live search engine results.
- We do not guarantee any improvement in Your search rankings.
- We are not responsible for business decisions made based on the results provided.
(4) Third-Party Dependencies: The Service relies on third-party search engine data providers. Changes to these providers' services, terms, or availability may affect the Service without prior notice.
9. Intellectual Property
(1) Your Rights:
- You retain ownership of the keywords You submit.
- You have the right to use, share, and publish the results from Your Reports.
(2) Our Rights:
- All Intellectual Property Rights in the Service, including the Website, software, Report format, design, and underlying technology, remain the property of Zone 2 Technologies.
- We may use anonymized, aggregated data derived from the Service for analytical and improvement purposes.
(3) Restrictions: You may not:
- Copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the Service or Website
- Use automated tools or bots to access the Service
- Resell or redistribute access to the Service
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices on the Service
10. Data Protection
(1) Data We Collect: When You use the Service, We collect:
- Contact information: first name, last name, email address, country
- Order data: target domain, keywords, location preferences, device type
- Technical data: IP address, browser information
- Results data: SERP results and ranking information
(2) How We Use Your Data:
- To provide the Service and deliver Your Reports
- To send email notifications about Your Orders
- For fraud prevention and security purposes
- To respond to support requests
- To improve the Service
(3) Data Sharing:
- We do not sell Your personal data to third parties.
- We share data with third-party service providers only as necessary to provide the Service (payment processing, email delivery, SERP data providers).
- We may disclose data when required by law or to protect Our legal rights.
(4) Data Retention: We retain Your data for as long as necessary to provide the Service, maintain Your Report access, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
(5) Your Rights: Under applicable data protection laws, You may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port Your personal data. Contact Us at hello@hirank.co to exercise these rights.
(6) Security: We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect Your data. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and You accept the inherent security risks of online transactions.

11. Acceptable Use
(1) Prohibited Activities: You agree not to:
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service
- Submit excessive Orders intended to abuse or overload the Service
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to track rankings for illegal content
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Impersonate others or provide false information
- Use the Service to harm competitors through false or misleading practices
(2) Enforcement: We reserve the right to:
- Refuse service to anyone at Our discretion
- Terminate access for violations of these Terms
- Report illegal activities to appropriate authorities
12. Liability
(1) Zone 2 Technologies does not carry responsibility for the way You use the Service or results provided, nor for any material or non-material, direct, indirect, or incidental losses and/or damages arising as a result of Your actions or decisions based on the Service.
(2) Although Zone 2 Technologies aims to provide the Service to the highest standards of the industry, neither it, nor its subsidiaries, agents, officers, or affiliates accept any liability for: (i) any inaccuracy or misleading information provided by You in Your Orders, (ii) any loss or corruption of data due to Your mishandling of Report access or Token URLs, (iii) any loss of profit, revenue, or goodwill, or (iv) any indirect, special, or consequential loss arising from any breach of these Terms by You.
(3) Except to the extent that they are expressly set out in the imperative clauses of the relevant legislation, no conditions, warranties, or other terms shall apply to the Service.
(4) Zone 2 Technologies' total liability arising from or in connection with these Terms and in relation to anything which We may have done or not done in connection with these Terms and the delivery of the Service (and whether the liability arises because of breach of contract, negligence, or for any other reason) shall be limited to the Cost paid by You in connection with the relevant Order in relation to which a dispute has arisen.
(5) For damages incurred by You that exceed the paid Cost and contested to be paid by Zone 2 Technologies, You are free to seek compensation in the relevant civil order under the Bulgarian Civil Code, with all relevant obligations for proof of damages.
13. Confidentiality
(1) Each party shall keep the other party's Confidential Information strictly confidential, use it only for the purposes of these Terms, and return it on demand without retaining copies.
(2) Either party may disclose Confidential Information to legal and professional advisors, or when required by law or regulatory authority.
(3) This clause shall continue notwithstanding termination of these Terms or any Agreement.
14. Consumer Rights (EU)
14A. The provisions of this Section 14 apply only to Users who qualify as Consumers under the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Commerce Act, Directive 2011/83/EC, and related EU legislation.
14B. Right of Withdrawal:
(1) For digital services that begin immediately upon payment, You acknowledge and agree that:
- By completing payment, You expressly request that We begin providing the Service immediately.
- You understand that once the Service begins processing Your Order, You lose Your right to withdraw from the Agreement.
- This is because the Service constitutes digital content delivered in a non-tangible form, the supply of which begins with Your prior express consent.
(2) If We have not fulfilled Our information obligations under consumer protection law, You retain the right to withdraw within one year and 14 calendar days from the date of the Agreement.
14C. Conformity and Remedies:
(1) We are liable for any lack of conformity of the Service that exists at the time of delivery and becomes apparent within two years.
(2) If the Service fails to meet conformity requirements, You are entitled to:
- Request that We bring the Service into conformity
- Receive a proportionate reduction of the price
- Rescind the Agreement (for non-minor issues)
(3) We shall remedy any lack of conformity within a reasonable time, free of charge, and without significant inconvenience to You.
(4) You shall be entitled to a price reduction or rescission if:
- We have not remedied the lack of conformity within reasonable time
- A lack of conformity appears despite Our attempts to remedy it
- The lack of conformity is serious enough to justify immediate remedy
- We have indicated We will not bring the Service into conformity
(5) You are not entitled to rescind the Agreement if the lack of conformity is minor.

15. Termination
(1) The Agreement between You and Us terminates upon:
- Successful delivery of Your Report; or
- Rescission of the Agreement in accordance with consumer rights provisions; or
- Termination by Us due to Your breach of these Terms
(2) We may terminate Your access to the Service immediately if You breach these Terms, including the Acceptable Use provisions.
(3) Termination does not affect accrued rights or any provision intended to survive termination.
16. Force Majeure
(1) Neither party shall be liable for breach of obligations or termination arising from causes beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, terrorism, strikes, transport disputes, government actions, third-party service provider failures, or internet outages.
(2) If a Force Majeure event continues for more than one (1) month, either party may terminate the Agreement without penalties, provided the affected party was not already in default before the Force Majeure event.
17. Assignment
We may assign, transfer, or sub-contract any of Our rights or obligations to any third party at Our discretion without prior notice to You. You may not assign Your rights or obligations under these Terms without Our prior written consent.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms represent the entire agreement between the parties regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements, arrangements, or representations, whether written or oral. You confirm that You have not relied on any representations not expressly set out in these Terms. Nothing in this clause limits liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.
19. Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement is subject to the Bulgarian law and the relevant European Union and International legislation and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Bulgarian courts in connection with any dispute hereunder.

23. Amendments
(1) We may amend these Terms at any time. The current version will always be available on the Website with the last amendment date noted below.
(2) Continued use of the Service after amendments constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
